Resort Feel Hill Country Pool and Cabana
The owners of this beautiful hill country home initially contacted us to select new living room furniture and re-upholster existing chairs. They loved how our designers’ selections finished their living room so much that when it came to design the backyard of their dreams, they knew who to call.
The homeowners are well-traveled and have a discerning eye for quality. The goal for their backyard was to create a space with a modern spa feel and for that space to be the retreat their busy lives required. Janice, our lead designer, envisioned a backyard featuring a pool and cabana where the homeowners could feel as if they were on vacation in their own home. She planned a space where the homeowners and guests could sunbathe by the pool, play yard games, sit around a fire pit, hang out by the bar, or dine al fresco among hill country sunset views. Our team accomplished just that.
The first pool design the homeowners had was for a simple, rectangular shape. We thought the space called for a more unique design. We chose a dark color for the Pebble Tec to offset the glare of the sun. The blue tiles for the pool and spa compliment the Lueder stone on the deck as well as the stacked stone on the front of the spa and bar area. Blue is our clients favorite color.
